Green Coconut Smoothie

This smoothie is perfect for a quick breakfast or if you need a little pick up throughout the day! It’s extremely refreshing and definitely sweet for a green smoothie. I love making a big jug of it especially in the summer! It’s simple and you don’t need many ingredients to make something healthy and delicious!

 

 

Ingredients

 

Makes one big cup 

  • 1 handful of Spinach
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 soft dates
  • 2/3 cup Coconut water
  • 1/3 lemon
  • teaspoon hemp seeds

 

Method

 

  1. Simply place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Then, enjoy!

Power Berry Breakfast Smoothie

As a breakfast lover I am totally in love with this berry breakfast smoothie. It’s the perfect combination of nutrition,vitamins and healthy fats, which will give you the best boost to start the day.

It’s also a great pre-workout smoothie if you go for a morning run or workout!

 

Ingredients

Makes one large glass.

  • 1/2 a cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon flax seeds
  • 2 tablespoons of oats
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/2 a cup of ice cold water
  • splash of almond milk

 

Method

Simply place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. If you think it’s a little too thick add a little more water or milk. Then, drink up and enjoy!
